Paul has worked as an individual contributor on early stage initiatives and managed large teams across multiple geographies in MNCs including Microsoft, Telefónica and SAS, with a primary focus in all roles on building sustainable businesses from an early stage. Having worked across some of the world’s largest and best known organisations, Paul brings a wealth of experience in leading high performance teams within the ICT and Life Sciences Sector.
While an electronic engineer at heart, as COO and Founder Sean has developed the technology that allows Motech deliver on its vision of assisting the elderly live independently with assurance for as long as possible. His core passion for achieving change through technology can be seen in previous roles which resulted in the delivery of insurance telematics services, chip set manufacturing advances and leading within organisations such as C&D Technologies and Compaq Computers.
A senior finance professional with over 15 years’ experience working in management roles across Telecommunications and Investment industries, Ian brings a wealth of commercial experience to Motech, most recently with Mobile operator Three Ireland and Telefonica O2. As the senior finance lead for O2 and Three’s Enterprise division Ian managed key commercial decisions as the company moved from being a Mobile only business to investing in numerous new product areas across IOT/M2M, Unified Communications, eHealth, mobility managed services, Apps and location based marketing.
With over 10 year’s experience in M2M and IoT, Mark brings a wealth of experience from Telefónica O2, Three and the advertising industry to his role. Having worked across nearly all segments of the IoT ecosystem, including Smart Metering, Insurance Telematics and Fleet Management, Mark understands the needs of the industry and is highly focused on developing and delivering new partner agreements that support both the partner organisation and Motech’s vision for delivering assisted living.
With over 10 years of development experience in complex electronics projects such as digital TV, ultrasonic sensing, high speed networking and IoT, Vukasin leads Motech’s highly skilled team of engineers. A qualified Electronics Engineer, he has a passion for technology that ensures Motech deliver the best products to market and support both our partners and end user’s needs, using the latest advances in digital signal processing, inertial navigations and algorithm development.
With 17 years’ experience in the IT sector on both the technical and management side of the function, working within teams and on projects in 9 countries, Stephen brings a critical focus to our information and security management processes. And as a dedicated Ward Solutions employee sitting within the Motech organisation, he brings insight and expertise from Ireland’s leading provider of information security and risk management solutions.
Karen has 20 years’ experience in the Medical Device Industry across multiple geographies including the USA and Europe. She has worked with multi nationals through product initiation and development, coupled with sales and marketing across a number of medical specialties. Most recently she has managed a sales and marketing distribution network in multiple International markets.
Matt has worked within the tele healthcare sector for over 10 years, during this time he secured a number of the largest contracts and deployments of tele healthcare – he therefore has a detailed understanding of the health and social care sector in the UK. Additionally he has led a domiciliary care company, so understands the challenges the care sector is currently facing and the opportunity that technology enabled care can offer.
Sean is very much the coalface of Motech on a day to day basis for our partners, leading a team of engineers and care operatives to ensure our partners are achieving the full potential of the Motech service and managing any training needs or day to day queries they may have. Having a CV that includes both customer facing roles and needing deep technical understanding ensures he has the perfect balance to communicate between our engineers and our partners.
